2004 Sorriso Rosé


Bright red colour. The nose displays lifted cherry and berry characters. Predominant flavours on the palate are sweet cherries and coconut, not unlike cherry ripe. The palate is soft and round with good balancing acidity to keep the wine lively and fresh. Eat on a warm day with a light meal - salads, antipasto dishes.

Vinification Notes

Crushed and de-stemmed, then left on skins to extract the colour required. The juice was then drained from the skins to complete fermentation in a stainless steel tank (similar to a white wine). The ferment temperature was maintained in the 12-15°Celsius range to maintain lively, fresh fruit character. The wine was then racked from yeast lees, filtered and bottled under stelvin capsule to maintain freshness.
