Thorn Clarke has performed very well in the New Zealand Liquorland Top 100, with the 2005 William Randell and 2006 Shotfire Quartage both receiving Gold Medals, putting them in to the Top 100. 2006 Sandpiper Cabernet Sauvignon received a Silver medal along with the 2006 Sandpiper Shiraz and 2006 Shotfire Shiraz receiving Bronze.

Our 2006 Shotfire Shiraz also won a Gold Medal at last month’s Brisbane Wine Show, performing in a category of 280 entries made up of many world renowned wines.

Once again Thorn-Clarke has received an outstanding review. This year we have once again been rated a five star winery. Plus we have received a red star rating which is a notch up from just the five stars and represents an ‘Outstanding winery regularly producing wines of exemplary quality and typicity. Will have at least two wines rated at 94 points or above, and have had a 5 star rating for the previous two years.’ – only 8% of wineries in the publication received this accolade.

Thorn-Clarke was also rated amongst the best from Barossa.
